Going To Paris Does Any One Know Of Any Shops Which Sell Fabric Machine Embroidery Threads Etc.?

We went to Paris from London last year. There is a wonderful patchwork shop in the rue de la Bucherie (make sure you have a good guide book with you). I think it’s owned by an American. It’s only yards from Notre Dame. If you go to the viaduc des Arts (an old railway viaduct which has been turned into a park on top and there are wonderful craft shops in the arches, including a French needlework shop. If you go to Montmartre, stop in the street where the funicular railway is and there is a whole street of fabric shops – Dreyfus is one and Reine is another. They all have several floors of different types of materials, craft, dressmaking, furnishing. You’ll think you’ve died and gone to a Very Nice Place!

Which Model Of Brother Home Computerized Sewing And Embroidery Machine Should I Buy?

I have decided to buy a Brother home computerized sewing and embroidery machine after reading a lot of reviews. Can anyone help me decide which model I should buy? I intend to set up a small home business embroidering T-shirts of my own design for sale. I don’t know how to sew but I believe I can come up with some pretty interesting designs using the computer software. I cannot ask my husband although he is able to help me as he does not believe I can do it. I have not done much with my life and so his lack of confidence in me. Can anybody reassure me that I can learn this although I can’t sew a stitch?

Which Sewing, Embroidery Machine Should I Buy?

I havent used one before but there is a deal on the sofia babylock embroidery/sewing machine 699.00 but im am unsure of which to get between the sofia or brother one at walmart, they look identical just about but the sofia has a usb port vs the brother just having a card port.
Anyone who knows much about machines help me out here should I spend the extra for what seems like a usb port?
