Any Ideas For A Craft To Memorialize A Loved One?

My nephew’s father (my brother) died ten years ago this August. My nephew was 3 (now 13) and has few memories of his dad. I’m not any good at scrap-booking and don’t have a whole lot of interest in learning. Does anyone have any ideas for some kind of craft project that I can make for my nephew that would help to connect my nephew to his dad in some way.? So far, I’ve come up with some kind of quilt or possibly a cross-stitch/embroidery project. Any other ideas?

Need Opening Event Ideas For Sewing Machine Store?

I am opening a second location 60 miles from my present location. We will carry sewing and embroidery machines and related supplies. The machines range in price from 200 to over 10,000. I will be totally new to this particular market. I want a grand opening event to really kick start the word of mouth that is necessary in this particular business as well as employing traditional methods. Any one have any great and unusual ideas? Any ideas. I am just stuck other than the regular ordinary things most people do. Thanks

Im getting married Friday July 4th, 2008. I know i have plenty of time but would like to get some in put. I fell in love with this wedding dress that has some red embroidery in it. Its not a lot but it has a touch of red. Do you think the bridesmaids should wear red? I dont know what colors to do. And I dont want a red white and blue theme. Thanks.
