Can You Help Me On Scarlet Letter?

ok i have to write interpretation for this one assignment and i got stuck on three of the qeustion!
it gives me a quote from the story and four qeustions, and i have to write my interpretation from answering the qeustions!
ok here it is:
“on the breast of her gown, in fine red cloth, surrounded with an elaborate embroidery and fantastic flourishes of gold thread, appeared the letter !.”
1. if wearing a letter is a punishment, why would it be so elaborate?
2. who made the letter?
3. what could such an elaborate statement mean?
4. what could the decoration say about the wearer of the letter
can you please help! i m just stuck and cant go anywhere else, untill i finish this activity!

Help Me Decide Between Colours Of Clothes, Please!?

I’m a medium brown with jet black wavy hair that’s layered and medium-length again, and dark brown eyes. There’s a little party happening soon and I wanna look my best there! Please help me decide between:
a) a bright pink and medium orange with some silver
b) a beige with dark pink and green embroidery and a gold shawl
It’s an evening function. I don’t wanna look too dolled-up, but it’s absolutely important that I look good, so please, please tell me what kind of makeup and jewellery and hairstyle I should go in for!

Help For My Brother 270d Embroidery Machine!?

I Just got my Brother 270D emboidery machine for Christmas so I am new to the world of embroidering. I have purchased and downloaded a few fonts so that I can use them on my machine. I put them on the memory card and put the card in my machine, but here’s my problem. Each letter is a different design on the memory card. So how do I combine the letters to spell a name so that my machine can embroider the name all at once? Example: I want to embroider the name “Olivia” but the O is one design, then the “L” is another, etc. I can’t do one letter at a time or else I’ll never get the spacing right! When you use the four fonts that are on the machine, you can type in all the letters you want to use and then it embroiders them all as one design. How can I do this with fonts that I’ve downloaded onto my memory card?

Brother Se-270d Embroidery Help?

My machine tells me (at times) that the pattern I select is to big even though it was only 4 letters. Then another time it let me make 6 letters. How can I decide where it embroiders in the square? The one time I got it to embroider the name I wanted it only used about 1/8th of the space that it could have. How could I have made it fill up the extra space. Any links for beginner embroiders would help also.

Brother Sewing/embroidery Machine Se270d Help!?

Hello. I just ordered the sewing machine listed above. I know that it embroiders…but I can’t for the life of me find out where or if it says it embroiders in multiple colors.
Does anyone know if this machine embroiders in multiple colors? Or does anyone have one?
I have not got the machine yet. And the site I bought it from, as well as many other sites, don’t specify if it is capable of embroidering in multi-color.
Any help would be great. I’m trying to pre plan my designs before the machine gets here. This piece of information would be much help.

I Brought A Design From The Internet, And It Doesn’t Work, I Emailed The Lady And She Was Really No Help.?

i have brougt many designs from the internet and had no problems with them. getting them saved and to my smart box and to the embroidery machine and have beautiful things from them. when i try to get them to my smart box it says. paint can’t read this file, and this is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently supported. i know paint is something to draw with and i don’t know how to use it. my computer has never said that before when i take a saved design to the smart box and then to the embroidery machine…any ideas???help? the lady was and will not be any help…i just lost my money…
